UCRF to forge Closer Links with Uganda Musicians Union
Besides the artisans of Katwe, the Ugandan musicians are the largest, most durable, self-sustaining group of creative individuals. Because of this, UCRF is proud to be associated with its membership and happy to forge closer links. This is effort is being spearheaded, among others, by Mr. Joe Tabula, Ms. Anita Sseruwagi Kutta, and Pr. Judith Babirye. The trio are providing a ciritical glue for the UCRF message to find traction in this increadibly creative group. We are confident that the link will being dividents to the patient with cancer in Uganda and also being Pride to the Pearl of Africa - as one of the first countries in Africa to have creative artists provide leadership in this area. We say one of the first, because Yassour Ndour of Senegal, as indeed have other celebrated musicians in West Africa, has been leading in this areas. Time for ours, too, to step forward. Thanks Guys and Ladies.
